Dare to Believe

2015 had not only been a roller coaster ride for me, it was much worse and much better altogether. It’s like a sky diving year where I never know if the parachute will open or not.

A lot like “love-hate relationship” and as to any other seasons of life-we laugh, we cry, we learn then we move on. That’s when we know that we really lived and yes, we are still alive!

2016 has come and we don’t know what this year will bring but it isn’t too late to start believing.

Life is like a roller coaster ride but I’d rather let go of the ride and fly.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.

When the world condemns…

, , , ,

When you are in a process of change, there will always be resistance. Specially when it’s a matter of heart and character-it is never easy.
Giving up your old ways would sometimes bring you back to your old life. The world will always condemn because it rarely knows mercy and grace. Just when you are getting there and letting God take over, the enemy will tell you that you can never change. He will convince you that you are still your stinky identity and that you are never enough. That’s all lie.

John 10:10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come so that they may have life, and may have it abundantly.”

Yes, it is his job description. To steal the joy of a life surrendered to Christ, to kill all the hope you have and to destroy every good plans God has instore for you; to destroy you.

But Jesus, author of the life we have says otherwise. He is saying, “You don’t have to try harder and you don’t have to search the world for your meaning for I have come to give you life,”  not only to live it but to have it abundantly.

He is the way the truth and the life. He is our way to a righteous life. Yes, there may be struggles along the path of sanctification but He is the voice of truth that tells you “my grace is sufficient in your weakness” and He is not only the giver of the life we have but He is life himself.

When the world tells you that you cannot change for the better, that you will always stay messed up and that there’s no hope for someone like you, remember that the world hated Jesus first and He looks at you with love, mercy and grace.

Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.”
